getting social with the rotarians

Yesterday Mary Thorsby, Patience Renzulli and I spoke on social media at The Rotary Club of Paducah's lunch meeting. The Rotarians are a great service group and this particular meeting drew a larger than normal crowd; hopefully we had something to do with that! Our message included utilizing social media for business, best practices, and personal applications, with live demo.

harrah's halloween decor

I was selected to decorate for Harrah's Metropolis' Halloween Bash...jack-o-lantern topped urns, gauzy shredded cheescloth over purple silk table runners and "bleeding" candles adorned the tables as shown in this pic by Keith Ford. This particular pumpkin carved by local artist Jay Chuppe.

7 @ 5

I am promoting Gallery 5 and artist William F. Renzulli's 7 @ 5 event. Everyone's invited to this Open House reception on November 13 from 5-8 to enjoy refreshments, view the artist's new works and celebrate his 7 years in Lowertown. The Gallery is located at 803 Madison.

Most recently, William F. Renzulli was a featured speaker at the Kentucky Long Term Policy Commission's 16th annual conference. As one of the first artists to come to Paducah with the Artist Relocation Program, Bill spoke on the program and how it has become a successful model nationwide. Look for my profile of the artist in November's Paducah Parenting & Family Magazine, as well as an upcoming ilistpaducah.com "I love it!" on Gallery 5.
